The Museum

“Must”, the Museum of Tremosine, is an exhibition centre dedicated to the events of the Great War in Upper Garda and, in general, to the history and the area of Tremosine. The multimedia exhibition is divided into seven exhibition halls (about 600 sq m), three dedicated to the events of the Great War in Upper Garda which represent the core of the exhibition, and four to the area of Tremosine, its history and its naturalistic, environmental and cultural characteristics. The exhibition is both in Italian and in English to make it accessible to an international public. An audio guide is available to help tourists make the most of their visit to the exhibition. Thus, the Must is not only an exhibition centre but it also aims to be the starting point for those who want to discover the surrounding area. There is also an educational workshop, areas for meetings and conferences and a guesthouse. The Museum of Tremosine is located in Villa Paradiso, a restored Art Nouveau building from the early 1900s which was the seat of the Town Hall from the 1960s to 1990.
